Long time no see
Thursday, April 10th, 2003It has been a while since I last blogged - mainly through slackness, but also because Ben has been here and so we’ve being out doing stuff. Of course this means I’ve got plenty to talk about, and I’ll try and write up some of the stuff we’ve done, like see Derek Jacobi as Prospero, two concerts with the Kronos Quartet, Dance of Death with Sir Ian McKellen etc.
In early May we’re off to see a production of the opera ‘A Handmaid’s Tale’ based on the book by Margaret Atwood, and last week we went to Waterstone’s for a book signing by her. Ben managed to chat about Canada and the weather with her - and she said she’s loking forward to going to Adelaide for the Writer’s Festival next year…
And just to top things off, it was snowing this morning when I woke up - which is always a good way to start the day. Its all gone now though.
